San Bautista is a town (pueblo) in the Canelones Department of southern Uruguay. It is located on the intersection of Route 6 with Route 81, about north of the centre of Montevideo. Its status was elevated to 'Pueblo' (town) category on 20 June 1901 by decree Ley No. 2.699. (...) (from Wikipedia)
